Mix Ratios for Essential Oils
If you are feeling a little adventurous and would like to experiment with making your own essential oil recipes, here’s a dilution chart you can use as a general guideline for the ratios of carrier oil to essential oils in your recipes.
We suggest you start with the 1% mix strength and then add more essential oils depending on what feels comfortable on your skin or once you have built up a higher tolerance. If you experience burning or redness, dilute your mixture with more carrier oil (Castor or Jojoba oil).
